Bandwidth: You can reserve more bandwidth for the frequency band as the band there is not congested like the low band.
For example, 2G,3G,4G, WiFi, and many wireless technologies are working in a low band. So it’s hard to reserve more bandwidth there.
More Bandwidth leads to More Data Rate, So yes carrier frequency can affect the transfer rate.
